These hands are of no use, if there is inadequate operation facilities. All surgical departments need a well-equipped Operation Theatre (OT) to work with. The design guarantees the correct circulation of patients and equipment used inside the Operating Theatres. The Unit is divided into two large areas: one Major Surgical Unit and one Day Case Unit where the Obstetrics Department and Endoscopic Procedure Room can also be found. A highly experienced, conscientious team of nurses and technicians circulate the theatres, each one optimally trained by specialist surgeons, to consider every patient as a family member of his/her own. The pre-fabricated modular construction is designed and constructed for exact size, easy field installation and future disassembly, enlargement or relocation. The modular operation theatre offers joint less uniform sealed, non-porous, cleanable surface controlled environment, better air and light distribution avoids bacterial contamination and its growth, with advantages of speed of construction and maintenance. The modular OT also provides further scope for future expansion and modernization in line with developments in surgical techniques.

The unit boasts state of the art equipment including ceiling mounted operating lights, air-conditioning, adjustable operating table, diathermy unit, suction unit, vital signs monitor (pulse-oximeter), high spec steriliser, dedicated scrub sink, and resuscitation equipment (including defibrillator). The operating room is stocked with a comprehensive selection of surgical instruments and operating disposables. For patients requiring oral or IV sedation there is a recovery room adjacent to the theatre where you can relax until you are ready to go home. A specialist theatre nurse is available at all times to assist with procedures and look after your every need. All the major and most minor medical insurance companies have accredited the theatre.

In the Major Surgical Unit the circulation of patients and equipment is always on a one way system in order to guarantee maximum asepsis. All the Theatres have an automated climatization system and completely filtered ventilation which include passageways as well as accesses.
